The jazz journal Downbeat created a characteristic for his or her final web page known as the Blindfold check, during which a author would play chosen tracks for a visitor musician who needed to attempt to determine the artist from simply listening or at the least analize the piece.
That is what Anamaria Sayre and I did this week. Or at the least we tried.
Although she broke the foundations of the sport, we nonetheless had fun and a pleasant chat about music from throughout Latin America.
