For greater than a decade, my on a regular basis uniform has nearly at all times included items from the French model Sézane (like, their chore coat, comfortable denims and trusty sneakers). So, this weekend I used to be excited to go to their new retailer in Williamsburg, Brooklyn…
As we walked in, we had been greeted with croissants and lemonade.
The intense house was full of a wall of colourful knits…
…lovely browns for fall…
…and funky patent boots.
The Sézane employees was fantastic, serving to everybody discover sizes and taking part in round with styling. A lot of them are French, and I liked listening to the completely different regional accents.
I attempted on the softest hoodie sweater with ’70s trousers and double-strap heels…
…and the way attractive is their bucket bag within the chocolate croc print?
All of the sudden, a candy scent got here wafting into the shop, and I noticed that Sézane was making crêpes outdoors for passersby. You could possibly select both Nutella or sugar and lemon. (Which might you decide? I went with the latter.)
Subsequent, I attempted on their iconic trench — which is available in 12 colours, together with gingham — over a Peter Pan collar shirt and wide-leg denims.
Lastly, we stated goodbye to their beautiful group — how lovely is that plaid coat with a detachable scarf?! — and promised we’d be again quickly.
A number of extra fairly items…
What would you put on? What crêpe would you get? Thanks a lot, Sézane, and welcome to Brooklyn!
