“Playground Love” (feat. Gordon Tracks)

The band Air is a duo from Versailles, France. Their first EP got here out in 1995, adopted by their critically acclaimed debut album, Moon Safari, which was a world hit. Then they made the music for the movie The Virgin Suicides, which was written and directed by Oscar-winner Sofia Coppola, based mostly on the novel by Jeffrey Eugenides. The film got here out in 1999, and it was Sofia Coppola’s first movie. An album model of Air’s rating got here out in 2000, and it was nominated for a Brit award. Pitchfork put it at quantity 4 on their checklist of the most effective movie scores of all time. Along with the instrumental music that seems within the film, Air additionally wrote a tune for the top credit, referred to as “Playground Love.” That tune featured Sofia Coppola’s future husband, Thomas Mars, from the French band Phoenix, on vocals.
