Slayer launched their closing document Repentless in 2015, and after a very long time teasing it, Slayer guitarist Kerry King launched his debut solo album From Hell I Rise in 2024. This irritated a contingent of King followers for sounding like a continuation of Slayer, and King is not precisely certain why.
In an interview with Rádio Kiss FM 92.5, King stated he wasn’t making an attempt to outdo Slayer or something, however merely continued on writing music.
