As a toddler, I used to construct worlds for my Barbies. I’d spend limitless hours with my sister, Religion, crafting intricate realms, stitching tiny clothes from vibrant materials, and fashioning furnishings from corks, toothpicks, and bottle caps! Early experiences like these launched me to the magic of design and impressed me to turn into a designer and artist. We had our first name with the Mattel workforce (the kindest, most inventive bunch!) on a Friday and the next Monday we have been at their places of work perusing their classic Barbie furnishings archives, searching for our dreamhouse! I even bought to deliver Ida! It was unbelievable. The artistry and a spotlight to element that goes into constructing (or in some circumstances sourcing) all issues Barbie is admittedly inspiring.
